This policy explains how Primoris Renewable Energy ("we", "us") handles personal information in PRE Connect, our hiring and community app. It covers job applicants, referred candidates, people we meet at events, employees who use the app, and visitors. If you are applying for a job, our Applicant Privacy Notice summarizes what we collect from applicants and why.
Information we collect
- From applicants and candidates: the information listed in our Applicant Privacy Notice.
- From employees and staff who use PRE Connect: your name, work email, Employee ID, your role or desk, a password stored only as a hashed value, and the messages and posts you make in the app.
- From people who refer someone: the name, phone number, email, zip code and skill they give us about that person. Only refer people who would welcome hearing from us.
- When anyone uses the app: we count visits to each part of the app by day and by kind of account, with no person attached. We do not use advertising pixels, cross-site trackers or analytics services.
Storage on your device
PRE Connect keeps your sign-in on your device, in browser storage and in a cookie that is used only to restore it, and remembers your language. These are needed for the app to work. We do not use cookies for advertising.
How we use information
- To recruit, and to match people to project sites, events and openings.
- To contact people about those opportunities and about their applications.
- To run the community features of PRE Connect for employees.
- To meet our legal obligations, including keeping hiring records.
- To keep PRE Connect and its accounts secure.
How we share information
We share personal information only with the service providers who run parts of PRE Connect for us (Microsoft Azure for hosting, Twilio for text messages, our email delivery provider, and Google Fonts for typefaces), and when the law requires it. Anthropic and Meta, which we use for advertising, receive no applicant personal information. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Text messages: we do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your consent to texts with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Twilio uses your number only to deliver PRE Connect texts for us. The program's terms are on the PRE Connect text messages page.
How long we keep information
We keep each kind of record for the period below, counted from the last activity on it, and then delete it. Records covered by a legal hold are kept until the matter ends.

Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, including California, you can ask to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to correct it, and to delete it. We will not treat you differently for asking. You can turn email and text updates on or off at any time in Settings, or reply STOP to any text.

We confirm a request within 10 business days and answer it within 45 days, or tell you if we need up to 45 more. If we keep some records because the law requires it, we will tell you which ones and until when.
Security
Passwords and security answers are stored only as salted, hashed values. Candidate information is open only to the staff whose work needs it, and staff access to candidate records and resumes is recorded in an audit log. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.
Young people
Some PRE Connect programs, such as the Job Corps partnership, are open to people aged 16 and older. PRE Connect is not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy or the Applicant Privacy Notice, we update the version and date below. If a change is significant, we will tell you in PRE Connect.
