Primoris Renewable Energy ("we", "us") runs PRE Connect to recruit people for its project sites, offices and programs. This notice tells you, before or at the time we collect it, what personal information we collect about you, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have. Our Privacy Policy explains more.
What we collect
- Identifiers and contact details: your name, email address, phone number, street, city and zip code.
- Account sign-in details: your email, a password stored only as a protected (hashed) value, and a security question with a hashed answer.
- Professional details: the skill, trade or discipline you choose, crew details, the hourly rate you want, your resume, and your rehire or onboarding status. For employees: your Employee ID and department. Our recruiting staff also keep notes and statuses about your application.
- Education: whether you are enrolled, your program or major, and the university event where you met us.
- Work authorization: only a yes or no answer to whether you are authorized to work in the United States.
- How you found us: the source you choose, a Job Corps center, or the ad campaign and area that brought you to PRE Connect.
- Communications: messages we send you, your RSVPs, and your choices about email and text updates.
- Photos, for employees who post to the PRE Connect community feed.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for your Social Security number, date of birth, driver's license or other ID numbers, race, sex, veteran or disability status, biometric information, or precise location.
Where it comes from
From you; from a person who referred you; and from PRE staff who meet you at hiring and university events.
Why we use it
- To recruit, and to match you to project sites, events and openings.
- To contact you about those opportunities and about your application.
- To meet our legal obligations, including keeping hiring records.
- To keep PRE Connect and your account secure.
Selling and sharing
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How long we keep it
Employment laws require employers to keep application and hiring records for a period after you apply. We keep each kind of record for the period below, counted from the last activity on it, and then delete it. If a legal matter requires it, we keep the records it covers until the matter ends.

Your rights
Depending on where you live, including California, you can ask to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to correct it, and to delete it. We will not treat you differently for asking.

We confirm a request within 10 business days and answer it within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you, and we may take up to 45 more days. If we keep some records because the law requires it, we will tell you which ones and until when. You can also ask someone to make a request for you; we will verify the request before we act on it.
Who helps us run PRE Connect
- Microsoft Azure hosts the app and its data.
- Twilio sends text messages, only if you agree to receive them.
- Our email delivery provider sends email.
- Anthropic powers an advertising planning tool. It receives no applicant personal information.
- Meta runs our job ads. It receives no applicant personal information.
- Google Fonts provides the app's typefaces and receives your device's IP address when the app loads them.
