Talent Acquisition capabilities
Every channel this platform runs for you, and where to find its people.
1 Job events
Public hiring days near our project sites. We post the event and its zip; craft candidates within 49 miles see it on their home screen and sign on through the evergreen requisition attached to it. The people they bring in land in the Craft (PV & BESS) pool.
2 Hiring events
The emergency channel. When a site is struggling and the clock is running, we stand up a hiring event to hire and bring people to that site as fast as possible — high-volume, short-notice, aimed squarely at one site's gap. Raise it through your Craft TA Lead and it gets treated like the emergency it is.
4 Early Careers & university events
Campus booths and career fairs feed the internship pipeline: students we meet are captured on the spot, pooled by school and department, offered the evergreen posting from their event, and staged from first handshake to intern. Their postings — internships, co-ops, new-grad roles — are managed separately from staff requisitions, so the right roles reach the right people.
3 Invite Only events
Not hiring days — showcases. Luxurious, fun marketing events that reward standout people and show off big spending and an exciting growth culture — with celebrities and large musical acts on the bill when the moment calls for it, filmed for YouTube and social media to carry the brand name. This is where we invite and attract the top talent of the solar EPC industry. Each event is its own pool with live RSVP tracking; nobody sees one unless we invite them — star and assign the people you want in the room.
3 Job Corps partnership
A Registered Apprenticeship pipeline through our partner Job Corps centers — prevailing wage, qualified hours, and a strict 1:1 journeyworker-to-apprentice ratio across our Laborer, Wirer and Equipment Operator programs. Candidates arrive pre-grouped by center in the Job Corps pool, and each center carries its own event schedule.
5 Local ad campaigns
When a site needs more reach than the organic channels give it, we buy local: geofenced social, Indeed placement, newspaper, and drive-time radio around the site's zip. Three tiers, priced monthly:
Local Reach$1,500/moA steady background presence — one radio station, standard listings, light social rotation.
Full Local Push$3,000/moDaily social rotation, drive-time radio, geofencing where trades actually go. Our usual recommendation.
Maximum Local Saturation$5,500/moEvery channel at full frequency, QR drop kits, weekly local-hire reporting.
CustomYour budgetA split you set across the channels — any amount, any mix. Built with your Talent Acquisition Partner when a tier doesn't fit the site.
Where the budget goes — the standard split
Meta — Facebook & Instagram 35%The workhorse. Geofenced social ads around the site's zip, run under Meta's employment-ad rules, refreshed daily at the higher tiers.
Indeed 20%Sponsored listing placement — standard, premium, or top slot by tier — for the people already searching for work.
Local radio 13%Drive-time spots on one to three local stations — the commute is where crews actually listen.
Google Ads 12%Search placement for the moment someone types "solar jobs near me."
TikTok 10%Short video where the younger trades actually scroll — site footage outperforms polished spots.
Local newspaper 10%Classified placement, stepping up to display ads by tier — still read cover to cover in small towns.
Geofencing — gas stations, the DMV, feed stores, truck stops — is bought inside the social and display budgets, not as its own line. The split above is the standard allocation; the Custom option rearranges it channel by channel.
How to start one: work with your assigned Talent Acquisition Partner — they initiate the campaign, aim it at your site's zip, and run the tracker and invoicing. Establish the budget with your project manager during site pre-planning, so advertising is a line in the mobilization plan rather than a scramble after the site is short-handed. A custom split across channels is available when a tier doesn't fit.
1 Invite Only events & happy hours
Want your team in the room with the people we're courting? Schedule an Invite Only event or a happy hour with your Talent Acquisition Partner or Lead — they curate the guest list from the starred staff pools, send the invitations, and track RSVPs and dispositions so every conversation gets a follow-up.
2 The full recruiting life cycle
How a staff hire actually moves, first touch to day one. Your recruiter owns the whole cycle, and the candidate's disposition in this platform tracks exactly where they stand along it: sourced or referred → application → interviews → offer → offer accepted → background investigation and pre-employment drug screen → new hire orientation in Denver.
5 Staffing partners
When the organic channels can't cover a surge — a mobilization on a short clock, a hard-to-fill classification, a schedule crunch — we bring in our approved staffing vendors. They are a supplement, not a substitute: reach for them when the timeline can't wait for the pipeline. To initiate their services, go through your Craft TA Lead — they engage the vendor, set the terms, and keep the spend and the quality on one desk.
6 Transfers & workforce planning
Sometimes the person you need already works here. The transfer process technically lives under workforce planning, so before you go outside: get with your Transfer Coordinator to explore internal pipelines, training, and transfer capabilities — a proven hand from another site can be faster than any hire.
The Craft TA process — press play
From your manpower projections to a crew at orientation — eleven stations, one candidate. Press play and ride along, or tap any station to jump straight to it.

Two different places, two different zip codes.
A job event is where candidates turn up to sign on — its zip decides who sees it.
A project site is where the work is once they are hired. Set up the site first if the
event is recruiting for one, then post the event.
Job events
A job event is where candidates come to you — a hiring day, an open house, a booth. Its zip is the venue's, which is often not the project site's. Craft candidates within 49 miles of the event zip see it and can sign up.
New job event
Where candidates turn up. This is what decides who sees the event — anyone within 49 miles of it.
Where the work actually is. Shown to candidates so they know the commute before they sign on.
Craft candidates always see events near them. This only controls whether the event also appears for Job Corps candidates — and you can flip it any time from the list below.
Picking a site fills in its zip for you and adds its mobilization date to what candidates see. With no sign-up link of its own, the event sends them to that site's postings.
Posting types
Each posting type has its own drop-down of project sites: tick the sites where it is posted. A tick saves straight away and shows in that site's postings below; an untick closes the posting there and keeps its link. Laborer, Equipment Operator and Electrician are PRE's registered apprenticeship program: candidates are told these openings are for apprentices and journey workers. Each program trade has one Workday link that every site uses, unless a site pastes its own. The types a new site starts with are ticked beside each type. Links must be https Workday addresses (…myworkdayjobs.com).
Project sites
A project site is where the work is — the zip a hire eventually mobilizes to. It is not where you hold a hiring event; that is a job event, set up in the panel above. Candidates only ever see a project site's zip code and mobilization date — never the site name or address — until they're hired. Each site lists its own postings: the skill sets a candidate can apply for when they tap APPLY NOW on that site.
Coordinates are only needed if you publish ads to Meta — employment ads may not be targeted by ZIP, so Meta needs a map point. In Google Maps, right-click the site and click the latitude/longitude pair to copy it.
Staff & Operations openings
The list candidates see in the Professional Staff lane. Each opening points at its evergreen requisition, so someone who picks it is sent to the right posting instead of hunting for it.

CRAFT ONBOARDING — Offer Letter Link
Paste the Workday guide link here. Every craft candidate who signs up and says they're onboarding gets an offer-letter FAQ in their inbox automatically — this link rides inside it, walking them through accepting their offer in Workday. Onboarding (craft side) can edit it too.
Saved.
Apprenticeship program links
The registered apprenticeship program's Workday links moved to Project Sites & Job Events, under Posting types. Each project site now lists its own postings.
Team messages
Two boards, both yours. The PRE message board (first row) reaches the internal audiences only — internal employees, hiring managers and Talent Acquisition. External candidates never see it. Every other row is that pathway's own board, shown beneath the PRE board and labeled with the pathway's name. Edit and save; it is live the next time they open the app. Leave one blank to show nothing.
Internal news & updates
Posts for the internal PRE community — company news, milestones, announcements. Newest first on their home screen; delete when stale.
Public events & community service
Open-to-everyone happenings for the internal community — volunteer days, ribbon cuttings, town halls. Upcoming ones show on the internal home screen; past dates drop off on their own.
Community service projects
Our own service projects. Internal employees see these on their home screen with an RSVP button and say whether they plan to attend the full event or a portion of the time — the RSVP list shows here, and you can post updates to a project as it moves.
Reports
Everything on this page is read live off the app — the register of every account, the candidate list, and where people actually go. Each block exports as a CSV you can send on.
Hired locally from the Craft talent pool
People marked Hired who came to us through a job event, and how many of them live inside the 49-mile line of one.
Where people go
One count per place per sitting, by seat. It says which parts of the app are worth the room they take — never who went where.
Every account on the app
Every login across every pathway and desk — Employee ID, skill set, desired wage and how they met us. Passwords are stored as salted hashes and cannot be read back by anyone, including this console; set a new one instead, which signs that account out everywhere and voids any pending reset link.

My logins
Your own accounts across the app, one per role: the role and the username, edit any slot and save, or add more. Visible to admins only. Passwords are not kept here; keep them in a password manager.
Team access & approvals
Every access request lands here — Hiring Managers, Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Culture Captain and HR — and waits until you approve it. Candidates asking to move pathway land here too; approving one rewrites their track and the side of the house it implies. Deny removes the request entirely; revoking an approved account cuts off its live sessions immediately.
Appoint a Culture Captain
Type the email of an existing candidate account and they become the Culture Captain on the spot — same email, same password, through the Culture Captain door on the PRE Connect chooser. They run the sports teams, community events, service projects, and their own board for the internal house.
Human Resources admin
Type the name, username and password and the HR admin exists on the spot — they log in through the Human Resources button, bottom-right. They control the HR message board and the HR team roster that internal users and hiring managers see under Contact HR. Re-provisioning the same email resets its password. The Employee ID is how other people reach them in messages.
Admin access
Only accounts listed here can log into the Employer tab. Add anyone you want to grant admin access to.
Only a super admin can grant or revoke admin access, delete accounts, revoke approved seats or set passwords.
Email delivery
Password reset codes are emailed to candidates. If email isn't working, a locked-out candidate has no way back in on their own — so it's worth testing here rather than finding out from them.
Department of Labor data
Contractors on job sites nearby comes from OSHA inspection records on the DOL Open Data Portal, read by the server with a DOL key set on the server. Check that the server can reach it.
Broadcasts
Tell people about an upcoming job event, a site's mobilization date, or the skill sets a job is short of. Pick who it goes to, write it once. It lands in their PRE Connect inbox — and by email and text for the people who asked for those when they signed up.

Text replies
Replies to PRE Connect texts that are not STOP, HELP or START. One that asks us to stop is an opt-out at once and is flagged here. Read each one within 5 business days (the law allows 10).
Record an opt-out
Someone asked us to stop by phone, by email or in person? Record it here. The number or address goes on the opt-out list, and every record that holds it is turned off.

Retention and legal holds
Delete archives a record: it leaves every desk at once and is purged when its retention period ends. A legal hold stops the purge for whatever it covers until it is released. The purge runs daily.
